Then why do you need a lowprofile card if you can use that?? The VGA comes off if you put it in a lowprofile case. I know this because I just got a Dell 745 from work and upgraded the video to a lowprofile 9600GT. To install it in the case yopu have to remove the backplate and install a LP one which also removes youe VGA port....

that card I linked has TWO low profile slots so it has both connectors even when installed with low profile. Please look at the product before telling me what it can't do.

Coincidentally, the card you linked in your first post actually supports two monitors, it has a DMS-59 which branches into double DVI ports. Still kinda looks like a weak card though so I would check out other options, such as the one linked by trasherht.

So basically you want to run one as DVI and one as VGA?? sounds a little counter productive to me but to each his own. I would be interested to see how that comes out.. And I may be wrong but if its going to be a dual display using the same type monitors using 1 as DVI and 1 as VGA sounds just wrong. But anyway OP you have some feed back and I am subbing so please let us know how it works out. Later,Uric

Well if this is on an old computer Im sure the quality given by DVI isn't going to be seen anyway.

Read my last note. realized that unlike the one I have it comes in 2 pieces, the one I got is one solid piece so you dont have to screw around with installing 2 brackets.
