Quick question, Already did some looking around and the answers were kind of skewed.

What is the avg ppd for a 2684 Unit on an i7 920 @ 4.2ghz (or close)

I would like to get a few peoples so I can get an average.

Thanks in advance.

With -bigadv. I'd say anywhere from the 28k-32k PPD @ or around 4.2.
I get around 28k on a big unit.

That seems a little low.
I was getting 20k PPD at 4ghz and a GTX 480/9800gtx+ and that was before I knew -smp 7 helped in some situations.

Oh actually I did have one of them on HFM.

P2684 gets much lower PPD than other bigadv WU's

it's like the P6701/6702 of bigadv's

np lol, what are you getting? you worried it's lower than normal or..?
Ya depends for me, CPU or SMP etc or with GPUs

I have not run just my CPU.

But if I divided it up it would be around 18,500

My PPD right now is 37k but that is more than just my PC.
Stats

Anyways I would say you will get 18k ish using SMP

Long story short, I moved my 920 to my home office, and put the 2600k in my work computer. And I’m getting it fine-tuned for the TC on the fly, and for the life of me could not remember what I used to get on the 2684 units (knowingly lower than normal) I’m getting about 20k ppd with 2 gts250s folding as well. Somehow I believe I got 24k before or so.

Then again I am only getting the 33K when I am not doing anything on them...Then it goes down to about 29k... and my smp flag is set to -7 instead of -8
