Ok, I think I got us both figured out. Follow these steps one at a time and tell me what happens:

1. Uninstall MSI Afterburner, whatever version it is.
2. Delete all leftover afterburner file under C: programfiles/msi afterburner; or whatever the directory is yours is in.
3. Make sure you have MSI Afterburner 210 beta 7 downloaded, then install it.
4. Once installed, before playing with it, go to the C: programfiles/msi afterburner/MSIAfterburner.cfg and edit (3) things, and I have attached a file for you to reference the screenshot.
5. Now open MSI Afterburner and select "unlock Voltage Control" restart Afterburner, and BAM! You should have control.

Tell me if this works!

Oh and good luck with yours because mine is going back! 2nd Asus card Ive had, the other didn't work out of the box, this one cannot even hit 1060mhz on memory overclocked! Was reading around and these suppose to routinely hit 1140-1170, some even more.

I'm gonna mess around with core a little bit now but man I'm disappointed.

Wow sucks you guys are having such bad luck with your cards. I have an Asus 6850 and it will reach 950/1150 100% stable with stock volts, in fact I can even undervolt it and it's still unbelievably stable.

Yeah, probably my last Asus. I got 1000mhz core stable and had a nice vantage run, but the memory, ehh, 1025mhz maybe is all I can get.

What driver do you have eggs2see? Im not giving up yet!

I have the 820/1050 Gigabyte 6850. I tried to get it to run @ 875/1200 (max it'd go on afterburner) and my applications would just stop responding... stress tests didn't reveal any artifacts, **** just crashed. Same with the Crysis GPU test @ 1920x1080, High, all maxed. Averaged out at 43FPS before freezing. Stock volts, haven't had any time to do any fiddling around (such a shame because my system is 3 weeks old).

What could this be? And am I better off with increasing Core or Memory frequency?

P.S.
Hope you get that figured out amd+ati. I hope I don't encounter the same issue :/
