my PG&E bill.. after 1 month of folding - Page 2

One could be a estimate, and the other a actual reading, IDK about what country you are in, but over here, you get a estimate, and then a reading.

If the dec was a reading, and the feb a estimate, that could be up to 50$ or more, out

The most I've seen for electric on my bill has been ~$70... and I live with 3 other individuals. Even if we were to assume that my computer took up the majority of the bill, that still doesn't compare to that.

Are you sure that $200 is ONLY electric? I know that my bill includes electric and gas... and last I checked, nobody powers their computer with latter.

No possible way that is all from folding. If you fold 24/7 and use a full 1000W, your bill would be:

24 hours a day, 31 days = 744 hours a month
744 hours x 1KW = 744KWh
$0.15/KWh * 744KWh = $111 to run this computer constantly at 1000W.

Something isn't right here.

We had a faulty water tank that was constantly 24/7 costing us £9 a day. Bills were over £130 a month and that was with my folding. Fixing that dropped the bill by quite a lot.

about to order one off amazon

i think mid jan.. maybe the week of the 17th

so roughly, for the first half of the month, it was 1090t + 570, and the second half was 1090t + 570 + 2600k

btw i got a ps3 folding for most of the month too, not sure how much power that uses but im turning it off for sure lol

there's a baseline usage, 352 kwh @ $.12, then there's a charge if you go over that, i'm now in the 201-300% of Baseline range, which bumps the cost up to $.39
