Reference GTX560 Cooler better then aftermarket offerings?

Okay i'm abit confused here. Is the reference GTX560 Ti cooler, better then the Other Editions?I noticed it has heatsinks on almost all the components like the Memory and maybe vrm? (i'm not good at components)

Like in this picture

you can see those heatsinks like everywhere lol

Then you look at the Asus Cooler

Only the core is cooled

Then the MSI Twin Frozer 2

again, only the core is cooled

Even the 1GHZ beast, the Gigabyte SOC

Okay so what exactly cools the Ram on these aftermarket cards and which would be the best for overclocking (if buying RAM heat-sinks is out of the question)

Not really sure but the reference design only has pads for the mem and vrm, not sure if that will lead to better cooling.

I don't think memory heat is a huge problem, however... the vrms should definitely have sinks on em.

The asus card has vrm cooling, but it doesn't look like the msi card does. And memory chips don't really need heatsinks, airflow from the fans is enough.

Reference cooling of GTX560 Ti has cooling for the VRM (see pic below).

The shroud comes off to show the heat pipe-based cooling solution employed by NVIDIA for the GTX 560 Ti. This cooling solution is a two part system with the cooling assembly for the GPU and a plate-style system to provide cooling for the VRM circuit components and the 1GB of memory. The whole assembly comes off when you remove the 15 screws that hold it onto the PCB. The GPU heat sink can then be removed once the plate is off the card. The cooling plate has a small set of fins cast into it above the VRM circuits for added cooling from the airflow passing over them. With the overbuilt four phase power design, cooling was significantly upgraded as well to take advantage of design.

also the nono ref cards has 2 more phases that should help with the heat xD

i wish 570 had 6 phases -_-

The Gigabyte SOC has 6+1VRMs and comes with heatsink on them !

But sure , the stock cooling solution is really good ! (not as good as Twin Frozr II or SOC )

My GTX560 SOC is comming soon , I'll give info for you guys once it's in my computer ! And I will be really hard on it because of my past ****ty experiences with Nvidia hehe
