For 300 dollars a gallon, I'll stick to my watercooling system.

That is pretty amazing. The price is rather prohibitive though.

If you can afford water cooling, this wouldn't be much more expensive.

I mean, how much did your whole wc system cost?

So if it boils at 93 degrees, taking a bath in it would be like a hot tub?
A very tingly, expensive hot tub. Body temp is 98.6 I think...

Imagine this:
SR2 2x 5680s
4 480s or 580 (without the power throttling thing)
Furmark + linx runs.
You wont be able to see the components no more .

1) 1 gallon of Novec isn't enough for an ATX mobo.
2) There is evaporation loss

I've heard that supercomputers do in fact use this coolant. They have many CPUs that are closely spaced on sandwiched PCB boards so there is no space for heatsinks crammed together. They fill special containers with flourinert (it was called this when I heard about it) and have the CPU mainboards inside these containers.

The difference between Novec and flourinert is that flourinert boils at a higher temperature (depending on the flavor) so it does not have the automatic recirculation effect. The lowest is 50C.
