haf x water cooling

in the future when i build my top of the line dream pc, i would like to do a custom w/c kit inside my haf x. the only thing is that i am worried because it might ruin my expensive parts. so i figured to mount the rad on the back keeping the 140mm fan there and using the 120mm fan holes. the thing is, i dont know how to set things up like that. can people show me a rad mounted this way and tell me how they did it?

I'd just get a 120mm fan (gentle typhoons being generally considered the best rad fans), mount it on the rad in push or push/pull, and then use some long screws to secure the rad to the back of the case. no big deal. I have that in my haf932 right now

Put a 360mm rad in the top.

And water cooling is safe as long as it's all in tight and leak tested.

If you want near 100% saftey use commpression fittings.

Get the XSPC Rasa kit, it includes all the required parts to water cool, and includes brackets to mount the rad on the back of the case.

Tbh Barbs and clamps(where you use the same size of tubing and barbs) or 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs with no clamps are more secure than compression fittings(in my experience)

I have a fillport on my current case and it takes much much much longer to fill the loop when poring into a fillport than just pouring into the res. You have to stop every so often to let air escape as the only way for the air to leave the loop is the same way you are pouring the water down.
