Well after a lot of reading when I was building my water system I was thinking of buying the Typhoons or Noiseblockers. The Noiseblockers were too expensive and had a non-standard frame so I went with the AP-14's but kind of wished I went with the AP-15's instead because of how quiet the AP-14's are. I've seen those before but I still chose the Typhoons over it because of fan blade design, 37 dB's are kind of high. My Panaflo's were rated at 35.5 and they were just a bit too loud for me.
I didn't think the Typhoons were going to be as good and quiet as everyone says they are. But they do have good static pressure and push air really well. Now I liked my old Panaflo's
but damn those things were just a bit too loud for me but at least you knew the fans were working
. But I would still take my Panaflo's over those Scythe Slip Stream's though because I used them before and know that the Panaflo's perform well.
