There's only one place in the UK that sells the 6Gv2 and I've never heard of them. Also, they want £10 for shipping.

I thought he was saying he was going to have black or brown colored keys..Ha.

In that case though, the Blackwidow comes with blues.

For me, the biggest factor in keyboards is how the keys feel to press, and how high the keys are off my desk (keyboard + key button thickness). For best ergonmics (IE no carpal tunnel), you want your keyboard to be as thin as possible, and you want to use an elevated palm rest.

A lot of people swear by mechanical keyboards. I've never tried one so I can't say. All the keyboards I buy now are scissor actuated. These are the same actuators that laptop keyboards have. They provide for a very light touch on the keys, yet a very positive feedback so you know you pressed it. The button travel is also much less than a normal keyboard. This allows you to type much faster with reduced effort.

A newegg search for "scissor keyboard" will returns keyboards like this.

Good luck!

Hey guy's I Just wanted to bump this as I still havent made a purchase, and can't until Wednesday (next check) haha

I've been hearing a lot of poor feedback on deck keyboards and I think I have to rule them out (not necessarily, can still be persuaded)

And I think I'm moving to Back lighting as optional

goal is mechanical that is great for gaming, and okay for typing, backlighting preferred but not a must, has to be under $200 max, around $100 would be a lot better, but If there is something amazing for $200 I'd consider it.

any additional info on Elite Keyboards new board coming, and on Xarmors? seems Xarmor site is still not up (will have to check right now) but wasnt yesterday.

good sir, tell me where you're able to get a u9bl-s for 80 dollars?? hmmmm?? I currently have a deck legend with blacks (probably going to return it, not really thrilled with linear switches and i find that they're just a little too stiff for my liking) and a rosewill mech with blues coming in the mail. I looked high and low for a decent place to buy the u9bl but the xarmor sight is still down and everywhere else usually wanted closer to 130 plus shipping.

80$ would really just make my day....especially if it's the revised u9bl with browns as an option.
