HP TM2T vs Alienware M11x R1?

It's about $600 for the M11x after coupon/sale in the config I want, and about $1000 for the TM2T in the config I want (470UM + HD5450). TM2T has a slightly bigger screen that's also touchscreen, but lower resolution...and everything else about it is weaker than the M11x, AFAIK. The TM2T has the benefit of being more portable/versatile/etc., especially if I wanted to surf while in bed or something, however. Being able to at least play (not max) most games at either laptop's native resolution would be good enough for me (both of which seem to be able to do), and I'd intend to upgrade both to a 80GB SSD and 8GB of RAM at some point.

Anybody have advice as to which I should get? Also, the M11x R2 isn't an option, because I've read that the newer CPU isn't that much of an improvement (and lessens battery life and produces more heat than tha R1), and certainly not worth the extra ~$400 because of that.

Well it really comes down to whether the features the TM2T has are worth $400 to you. Personally I would get the m11x. Just makes more sense as those few things aren't worth it to me.

Other than the rotating touchscreen, are there any features I'm forgetting?

Other than battery life and the screen, none. Its too slow to be a 1000 computer and I can find similar on ebay for 300 sans the Radeon card. If you buy both you still save 100 bucks.

As nice of a tablet it is for the price, it's missing something vital to me - a webcam. And getting an external one would kill the portability for me. Not to mention, I'd rather have an all-in-one device rather than two devices with nearly-identical purposes.

Is there perhaps a tablet (currently out or announced) more powerful than the TM2T, but still near the same formfactor?
