Ok I am highly considering this motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-252-_-Product

Would this memory work with it?
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...1&Sku=C13-1005

And would a core 2 duo E4260 2.16GHz be compatible?

Yes it should be fine together. That mobo supports memory up to 1600 and 16Gb so it has to accept 4Gb modules per slot. Though you should think about maybe getting 2x2Gb modules for dual channel or get another stick of what you posted

Mushkin is a very good brand, but those look like basic modules. They probably won't overclock well, if you're into that.
