Well from what you said i think your settings are as follows:

NB =1.26V RAM =1120Mhz CPU =4060Mhz (multiplier 14.5) makes HT REF CLK 280Mhz

NB =1.18V RAM =1000Ghz CPU =3625Mhz (multi 14.5) makes HT REF CLK 250Mhz

Those are some impressive HT REF CLKs!

Hi Redwoodz,

Thanks for your input, i am only concerned withe NB Voltage not the CPU-NB (wat your Mobo calls VDDNB)

I have my CPU-NB set to 1.2V with my CPU Vcore at 1.425V no problem

I was planning on trying to get to 4Ghz by going along the lines of:

HTREFCLK - 240Mhz
NB voltage ? (hence this thread)
CPU Multi = 17
CPU Vcore = 1.5V (or what ever it takes to get 4Ghz without Blowing the CPU (ie 1.6V not an option!)
CPU-NB Voltage = 1.25V Max
NB freq 8 x 240 = 1920Mhz
HT Freq 8 x 240 = 1920Mhz
Memory divider 5:3 = 240 x 5/3 = 400 x 2 = 800Mhz DDR2

I can get 3740Mhz stable fro 220HTREFCLK x 17 So just thought I would try a bit further.

CPU vcore is safe up to 1.55v
CPU/NBv 1.4v should be ok(check your NB heatsink T.I.M. and airflow)
NB frequency you want around 2800Mhz
HT keep at 2000 MHz
keep your RAM at the lowest divider and loose timings untill you get ref clock set where you want-then optimise
You should have no problems getting to 3.8-4.0 is really up to your chip

My chip is AM2+ not AM3 - I thought the NB should stay around 2000Mhz aswell as the HT freq?

I have mine up at 2250, because I cannot lower the multiplier on this board with this bios. No stability issues at all. One suggestion is that you take a look at what is underneath your NB, SB, and mosfet coolers. I took it off on this board and was greeted with some of the worst tim I have ever seen. Changed it out for some AS5, and dropped 10 degrees. Added a fan and dropped another 5-10 degrees. It used to run really hot, and now just chugs along happily.
