Well played mister, seems you are professional about turning upside down any of your opponent words..
Did i said that exactly? NOPE

About your Adobe Premiere CS5...
1--its uncommon SW, - standard home users will not come to contact with it

2--i hope you payed for it (no piracy), this costs around 1000€ in my local shops

3--you seems extremely worried with video editing SW,
let me guess - too many sextapes ?

yeah, when you notice that this graph includes ONBOARD GPU only for the AMD specs....well we know how Intel embedded graphics perform, maybe it is fair since no one will ever use it.

Vaporware to us-the CPU does exist...doh!

Indeed it doesn't.Since Intel is "soo" much better in gaming as you claim, explain this. You posted a comparison between your 1090t& SB in Unigine Heaven w/extreme tessalation. So you took Intel's 32nm and compared to the age old Phenom II architecture. What were the results? I will tell you.....39.4 fps compared to 41.3fps.Not only that, the other bench you posted of your 1090t-the HTT is set to 2800MHz! No wonder.....
and just for your pleasure Balla

My significant other said I could use some shrinkage.

Proof! http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...55-gaming.html

Well as far as I could go since the 1366 users are very sensitive.

It includes integrated gpu for both.... The 1155 chips have gpus built inside them

Here you go though:

The overall efficiency score with discrete graphics shows similar relationships between the different platforms, although the absolute gaps are smaller. The reason is the Radeon HD 5850 card we used, which requires power all the time and balances existing differences.
The reason why I posted the Heaven is because Heaven is gpu bound, where there shouldn't be a difference, there is.

I knew I should have learned to overclock my Phenom II before passing judgment

Unigine Heaven benchmark is not a good example, benchmarks are made to put a constant load on the gpu so there won't be as noticeable bottlenecking like in games. Look at comparisons for games like WoW, starcraft 2, supreme commander, really any RTS or game that only utilizes 2-3 threads while using a 580/6970 or sli/xfire setups. There will be noticeable gpu bottlenecking in any cpu intensive game. I know I might sound like a broken record but it's absolutely 100% true and even a tiny bit of research will show it.

thats one of the reasons, why gpu load graph is flat there

try again with with same speeds (cpu/mem) like on TB - just for curiosity

anyway, differences in this b´mark is :

GPU TEST 2 - 7,3 FPS

its small, you guys are overhyping it a bit

No way, you can run a SB chip on air at my clocks.

It took me chilled sub 0 water to get my 1090T high load stable at 4.4 or higher.

One of the advantages of SB is the clocks

Vantage is like of a best case scenario of the worse case (2 threads)... Most of the graphics test isn't cpu intensive. When it is, the Phenom II chokes a gtx 470.

It is what it is though, even in Vantage the i5 can put out more operations and better physx than a 1090T. When you start limiting core count the 1090T just becomes a 555 or 965 with better NB clocks.

This is all well and good but given Intel Sandy Bridge, my money will be on Intel Ivy Bridge for my next upgrade. I've been with AMD since I upgraded from the Intel Pentium III 500MHz system I had. I think it's time to visit Intel again!
I'm pretty sick about lack of overclockability (and difficulty at times!) with AMD CPUs as well as the performance one gets overall, in comparison to what I could get from Intel's offerings.

I have been where you are now....

Truth to be told is, this is exactly why many people simply just went with Intel, better performance, and that, despite the bumps in price, is well worth the trek across the bridge, definitely.... (Pun Intended)

Then of course, we still have to see if AMD brings it or fails miserably for the last time before they get owned by Intel in the end..

(Intel 10 Cores CPUs Coming SOON - Q2 2011!)

Now, what were we saying? Oh yeah, um Intel rocks, but AMD well, we gotta see proof they are going to even be in the game any more (in the desktop market), as of right now, I'd say AMD isn't going to win this fight, Intel doesn't fight fair, not even! Sandy Bridge is officially the bomb, definitely...

Bulldozer or Bust for AMD, in my eyes, but JF-AMD says this isn't true, as we can all see, AMD is simply disconnected from us real consumers...

They think they have the right solution based upon logic, but their logic has failed them too long now....
