i would like to recommend a-data 64gb and get 2 of em in raid 0. I have em and they are fast compared to 128GB's that are more expensive. Here is how fast mine are in raid 0.

Dont Raid ssds. its a fail Loads are longer windows boots up slower. Trust me i got 3 vertex in raid Well had. Raiding ssds is only # game single ssds faster then raid. 3 vertex in raid -0 666reads 450 rights but everything longer to load and start. Single vertex or c300 loads games 5 sec faster. Well in raid its 10 sec so single is 2 times faster.

To op. Get a c300 Good drive Never had a problem, ocz vertex are a waste. Mite want to wait till c400. Any sand-force drives are good. If you got a micro center by you. they sell microcenter ssds 128 gb @ $200 and its a sandforce controller

I hear the c300's are really good and also the sanforces controller makes it at the top.

I would get either a C300 or X25-M.

My C300 RAID0 works great, boots extremely fast (the only extra wait time is the RAID controller initializing) and runs great with garbage collection.

Yes ssd raid is fast but its slower over all. You need a high end raid cards to get better raids setups. Ich10 with intel rapid share is good. I had 3 X vertex 60 gb Drives in raid-0 , I was geting fast as ssd benchmarks and atto scores but was never faster then it was in single. Get a large ssd like c300 128 like i got. I would not trust ocz vertex, But the vertex 2 has sandforce. now vertex 3 .... but then u also got c400.
Here atto c os os drive.

Heres as-ssd Note c:drive os drive.

Raiding ssd Just dont do it. get 1 large drive thats fast. U cant go wrong BUt c300 good bet.
Heres c300 as-ssd Vs vertex single.

I would never again build a RAID0 array with more than 2 drives, the chance of failure is far too high and it does not benefit day to day use.

The impact of an array consisting of SSDs is latency/response time, it increases slightly compared to a single drive (which is a given considering the additional processes it has to go through). I noticed little to no difference in a single C300 compared to my array but other controllers and drives will certainly differ.

I would always recommend a larger single drive over 2 smaller drives in an array.
