my average at 1100/1300 is around 7800 ppd... not great, at least it is not terrible on heat. this weekend has been nasty though, 90's and no breeze so the card was hitting 68 C. I know this isnt that high, but it turns my office into an easy bake oven which affects the whole family. once I get a new house next year, will get my own man cave and can then do a dedicated folding rig and a new custom case mod I have in my head.

I need to see if I can pick up a used 5 or 6 series amd in the meantime to fold with and then I can actually game again.

Well a cooler CPU at stock will help when it's time for me to bump the clock speed up. That's why I'm gonna do it. Yesterday it was hella hot and the 1100T was running 46c under load. That's not bad but I want to increase the clock speed and don't feel like looking at temps in the fifties. smile.gif

Gonna hit 3mil soon so my PPD should increase a bit more as a result. I never thought I wud hit 3mil a year ago my PPD was so low. tongue.gif

Generally the people asking that question are those that are either just starting out building or have heard about it but haven't spoken with anyone who has experience lapping a CPU. That or they don't know how Google works. wink.gif

Kay gaiz I just started Prime95 on blend and will run it until Noon today. That should tell me what I need to know.

I'm pretty sure only my OS crashed today. I went away from my system to do some ballin on Skyrim and when I came back to it an hour later my screen was all wigged out like the GPU fried. Restarted and things were normal. Windows can be a real PiTA at times. biggrin.gif

*Edit* Crap I think I messed up by doing Blend. Four hours later and the system was so taxed on RAM that Windows failed to respond. doh.gif

Gonna try this again testing only the CPU. Four hours isn't bad but I need to test the CPU not both. tongue.gif lol
