OK, I'm calling it quits. I'm moving my efforts strictly to bigadv. I'm going to repurpose my GTX 560 into a steambox I'm setting up and just use my SR-2 rig as a gaming rig until I can get another processor for it. It's been fun, but the TC just isn't what it once was and it'll definitely be nice to save some money on power.

I am also going to pull out of the TC. I think the IT Crew is now down to zero members unless Nostra is going to stick around with the GTS 450.

It was fun for the short time I was here, and I only had one gpu bite the dust.
May my 6870 rest in peace after folding 24/7 for 4 months.

Weellllll I think we can officially consider the ITCrew as absolved. I had considered folding my GTS 450 - and still may someday - but currently I am in the process of changing jobs and all my rigs are pretty much in pieces.
It was fun while it lasted - especially in the beginning, when we were making a run for the next spot in division I. Unfortunately things started to dissipate rather rapidly. It was a combination of Murphy's Law, Kevdog's Law, a down-turn in the economy, the domino effect, the butterfly effect, (and maybe a flat affect for some) as well as component failures upon component failures upon component failures....and I hate to bring it up, but I don't think Ceadderman ever did get that chip lapped.... redface.gifbiggrin.gif

So there you have it, thanks for the memories my fellow TC folders. I anticipate seeing you in the trenches from time-to-time....
