[TB/YT] Verizon iPhone 4 Still Has Signal Issues. "Death Grip" - Page 3

When the "Attenagate" first came out, I tested the theory with my LG Envy Touch(VX11000), I was able to produce same results, even with a case on it. Now that I do have a Verizon iPhone, it does the same. YES, if you shroud the entire phone with your hand, you will loose a little bit of signal. But does it drop calls for me? No. Do I get the same signal strength as my old LG phone. Yes.

Like everything else, one little flaw with any company or person. The media finds something to hype up and do what they can to be "first" with the 'Big Story' to get sensationalism.

For awhile I was not a Apple fan, however, changed around when I changed jobs. Seeing how much productivity that we accomplish just by using iPads instead of carrying laptops or netbooks around; opened my eyes to Apple. Plus alot of our clients use an abundance of Apple products, so compatibility for sending documents or plans is much easier now.

Why the heck did the iPad open your eyes to Apple? I mean what does the usefulness of a tablet, which is an idea that has been tried multiple times before over the last 10 years, have to do with the company itself? Then again you list "compatibility" as a plus for an Apple product.

Yes, all phones lose signal. The problem is that the iPhone 4 has this happen very easily and the effects are pronounced.

I work in Home Automation. So, when we setup clients and there equipment, using the same products they use; transferring configurations of specific programs to there iPad's, iPhone's, MacBook's is a snap. VS, if I had setup everything up on my PC, then had to convert to be compatible for Apple apps. Plus the equipment we use, connects and is easily configurable with Apple products over IBM type machines.

From past experiences dating back to 386 machines, I've always personally scoffed at Apple and there products. When I started to use there products on a daily basis is when I lost my prejudice. That is all.

When you make the most popular smartphone on the planet, you get scrutinized a whole lot more. Fact is this is handily reproduced on every single smarthphone on the market. You wouldn't know it though, because no one cares about any other phone. End of story.

I've had an iPhone 4 since launch, and I don't even care about this. Who would buy a $800 piece of hardware with glass everywhere and just leave it caseless?

$8 case for an $800 phone isn't bad, IMO.

You broke it, your problem is how I see it.

As for the OS issue, jailbreaking is so much easier from when it first started out. It's practically moron-proof. Have nothing against "acquiring apps"? Well, you're in luck. [Install0us]

Lol. Did people really think they would re design that? Wow sucks for them. Apple will make a defective product and just tell the consumer to shove it.

Do people really grap their iphone completely like that? I dont have an iphone, but i never hold my smartphone by putting my hand completely touching every point of the phone.

Either way, hopefully there will be a far improved and better iphone by the time i get my upgrade in 2012. (and larger verizon LTE network too)
