Anyone know where i can find the best legit keylogger scanner? Please don't direct me to lame websites. ONLY Legitmate websites please. What do you use? I would like to scan for keyloggers cuz for some strange reason sometimes i see the browser refresh itself and plus my password isn't right the first time and i try again and i login? Little stumped.. nothing wrong with being safe cuz people really have no respect for people's privacy even steam.confused.gif

Malware Bytes is a good free program as well as Microsoft Security Essentials. They are both very good.

now I am paranoid - I'll check into it. But I also use Gdata as my main virus protection and I think that does keyloggers, but you have made me want to double check.

What that sounds like is a man-in-the-middle (Phising) not a keylogger.

When going to banking-type sites, I use a different browser that I only use for banking, and then I manually type the URL in.

Also, check to see if your bank is using a Extended Validation certificate, most do, and if they have one, your browser bar is green, or has some other non-trivial notification (Chrome puts the name of the bank in a green box next to the URL). If your bank has the extended cert and your browser is not indicating its extended, then something is screwing with your computer.

I never use my bank account online to check my balance. Paypal is secured but i always WIPE my money out of that and plus when i shop at newegg or other sites i always check for secure transitions. Besides i just wanna see if there was a keylogger or not because i'm frankly paranoid that's all lol. I always think someone next door is spying in my internet but i know it's not.

Spybot Search&Destroy
might help you, I used it a few times and I think it finds keyloggers.

DAMN YOU, you have now also made me paranoid...

Malwarebytes picks up keyloggers. I have a couple of install files for keyloggers on my system and Malwarebytes picked those up. I had to add them to the exceptions list.

What am I doing with keyloggers? I'm in training for network security.sneaky.gif
