Which of these two for HTPC?

Right, I currently have 2 crappy rigs at my disposal for use as a HTPC. I am not transferring any parts from each of them, and not spending any money on them for the foreseeable future.

One is a Socket 754 Athlon 3000+ @ 2GHz, with an XFX FX5600 on an MSI AGP board. This is in an Akasa Zen.

The other is a Pentium 4 530 (3GHz with HT), with an ATI X600, on a crappily supported PCI-E board, in a Tiny case (i.e. what happened to Time before they went belly up)

Both have 1GB RAM, and both have about 200GB storage (one has a 200GB SATA drive, the other has a 40 and 160GB IDE). They would be used for backups and local media.

Both would be expected to run Boxee, tvcatchup.com, iPlayer and other SD video content at 1440x900. They would also be needed to run a WinTV Nova-T USB dongle, which would be used through WMC. Both would be on 7 Ultimate 32-bit, and both have DVD-RW drives (the P4 has a card reader but this isn't vital). Both boards support SATA I. The P4 is mATX but this is not particularly concerning as both cases are ATX. The P4 also has a Sound Blaster 24-bit but again this does not bother me.

Whichever rig doesn't get chosen is made into a home server. So what will be best, performance wise, without any upgrades?
