Noob Question: How do I know if my card is reference? - Page 3

They keep the Nvidia name and they get the rights from Nvidia to use the cards (why else would they provide the cards/chips?) and make the big old Nvidia logo near the PCI-E connector obvious to see. I see nothing illegal.

What the heck are you rambling on about.

It's not illegal to put an aftermarket cooler on a reference designed PCB. For god sake just looking at the coolers you can tell if it's aftermarket or reference.

The key here is the OP is wanting to know if the PCB is Reference design or not. In the case of most/all Galaxy cards This Super OC GTX 460 is not a reference designed PCB.
