So I need to buy today. Should I go with the 570, 470, 6950 or what? I will spend up to $250ish. Should I dual sli the 460's?

2500k is a good bang

I'd get a ATI 6970 it's a little faster than the GTX 570 and has more VRAM but costs nearly the same

You should get a 560 Ti and overclock it like hell. AN go with the i5 2500K with a decent cooler, just get whatever MoBo you like they all overclock the same.

Edit: get a 2 GB version 6950 and flash it to a 6970 bios much better deal

Assuming you already have a 460, you should get a 2nd 460 and sli them. They are faster than a single gtx 580 which is faster than a single 6970.

It has been said that Intel will have those back in stock in the next 2 weeks so you might want to wait for them.
