Well crap I just sold my computer a few days ago. So I am kind of in a need to get a cpu lol. I prefer Intel or AMD I used to be an AMD fan but idk I fell in love with OC with Intels. Was running an E8400

Yeh, that was if you had a 460, in that case just by a single 6950 2GB and flash it to a 6970. If you do folding though, get a single 570 and you should be good.

Either buy a used i7 900 series + mobo or go all out and get the i7 2000K series when they're back. Same performance if you're gaming, IMO.

As for the GPU, that's where gaming/folding comes in. Also, what resolution and size is ur current screen? Basically, 570 vs 6950 2GB flashed.

If you go the used route, check out OCN marketplace and/or my sig rig.

I am 1920x1080 but in games I usually go 1650x(iforgotthispartlol)
