I would go for the U2410. It is an upgrade that will outlast any other, period.

Don't be so arrogant.

You don't have to own something to give advice on it, if anything, it's better not to own the item in question so you don't get a bias viewpoint based on unique personal experience. Obviously when it comes to different panel types or keyboards/mice, this can change.

I'd go for the Dell IPS, regular screens have nothing on them, the difference is quite astounding, then use the spare change for an SSD.

Where is the GD -rep button???

Thread Starter
Is there anyone who could link to a side by side of a 21 or 22 inch 16:9 vs a 24 inch 16:10. I found a screen area comparison but cant find a side by side with actual monitors.

Also, lets just stop the arguing. Its not doing anyone any good. I'm not going to take just one persons opinion and run with it no matter what (thats why I made this thread), so its not worth arguing about it....

Not exactly what you're looking for.

But read through this, it will be most helpful -- And kinda prove why you should just upgrade your monitor instead of getting another 570
