So it's around time to upgrade, which will entail a new psu (going on 4 years with a Rosewill 550, it's been good but time to step it up) and I figured I'd ask you fine and knowledgeable folks for advice.

I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with the Cougar CMX lineup, I just can't seem to find anything on them. Was looking at the 700 which has a pretty good deal going on it right now.

Failing that however, I know I really won't use more than a 600-650 as I plan on staying on a single card so I've been juggling around the XFX xxx 650, truepower new 650, and the seasonic 620w.

Is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817553003 the deal you're referring to?

Because http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371025 is a better deal no matter how you cut it

That said, should you settle for the SeaSonic S12II 620 -- scratch that and get the Antec Neo Eco 620 instead. Basically the same unit, but the Antec should be cheaper.

If you plan on staying with a single card, the Antec Neo ECO 520 is fine for your needs, if you need modular then the Antec TP-650 is at a great price.

So I just placed my order for the Seasonic X650 , cut it close as today was the last day of the promo. It's going to be SO overkill at the moment, but I figured it will be the base for my overhaul of my aging rig (One word: Skyrim). Will probably order a HAF 912 tomorrow, and I've been itching to grab a 955 BE, but my inner voice of reason keeps saying wait for Bulldozer, at the very least it seems it should drive phenom prices down a tad.
