New Build Sound Issue

Hello Everyone

I'm building a new pc and tring to get all my ducks in a row any way this is the mobo im getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131655

Do You think I should get a after market sound card or will the on board be fine

Willing to take any advice I'll moniter this thread for a hour if anyone needs more info

Do you listen to music/watch movies a lot on your desktop? I've never had a sound card but from what I've read even a cheapy $50 can make a big difference.

Yea I do watch alot of movies / tv but use a head set 90% of the time ..... just want to make sure i'm not bogging anything down

Thou I don't want to send a arm and a leg on a card was looking at these two

The only sound card i saw that is for gaming cost like 170.oo and has it s on ram

Not worth buying one of those cards.

Also unless you have nice sound peripherals you should be fine with the onboard.

If you really want to upgrade, pick up an Xonar card.

yea have done more research and it does look like on board is best if I'm not gonna spend over 100.00
