I understand that they are still preliminary and a number of things are being ironed out but for the first time i feel a bit disappointed. Perhaps my misgivings are unfounded, but if someone has a line of thinking alternate to mine, i would like to hear it.
Well you asked for it and I for one completely disagree with you. Now I mean I look at it and it looks better. Better textures and shadows and... well everything. Plus look at those mountains. Sharp and craggy and huge. The deciduous forest is fall. There are heavy pine forests. I really feel like this delicate land is on the border of a cold country giving a shelter of warmth whilst the cold winds bear their bitter breath upon the land. Man that was gay...

On a side note I'm happy to see some pics where there is no snow. If it all were snow I was gonna be depressed.

So while I beg to differ from you, what about these pics seems lacking to you?

Now what is that dragon doing standing on that structure? Why it should be clipping through the structure like it's supposed to!

Pretty much killed my hype for the game...
It looks like it is still using the Oblivion engine...

No they aren't....they are using a brand new engine for the game called creation. and just FYI this is a multiplatform game so the scaling won't be as much to make good use of high end PC.

Am I the only one that thinks this is going to be as awesome as previous games? Hell, I even liked Oblivion.

The dragon picture is especially nice.

2 strikes so far. All hope lies on the gameplay and mod friendliness now.

I like how people are bawling about the screenshots of a game running on 6 year old console hardware. If you all can find me another rpg releasing anytime soon that is as detailed and has a much depth as TES and looks a lot better let me know. Until then save the crying for when we start to see PC shots and benchmarks.
