Replacing Sig Rig

Thread Starter
I'm thinking about selling my rig to get a laptop.

It'd be great if I could still game, but if it makes it a lot cheaper to just be done with games forever, I'll do it.

The most intensive things I do are:
*HD movies
*Photoshop

I'm thinking on going all out on an i7 4GB 17in laptop, and when I saw this for $900, I thought about getting it.

Any recommendations?

I actually already did that tongue.gif

But I'm in college and the desktop takes up a lot of space, and the netbook isn't really powerful enough to play any intense movies or use photoshop. I'm kinda of stuck between too much and too little.

Since you didn't mention a budget.

This one is spendy but this would be a powerful desktop replacement. 1080p, blu-ray, i7, huge 18.4" screen, decent GPU.

If they were 1.5k maybe... Otherwise most useless post in this thread.

OP that laptop is OK but the one megalinked would serve you better so you could game too. Otherwise just keep your rig.
