You may have missed when I said it, but Samsung uses the EXACT same panel production facility that Sony uses. Samsung owns 51% of the factory, Sony owns 49% of it. In saying you "would take a Samsung TV over a Sony any day of the week" you are pretty much claiming Samsung is top quality over Sony, which is a joke of a claim. And Panasonic??? Pffft...

Don't bother Stealthy. The people are outraged fanatics with a hardcore case of mob mentality right now. Once Koolaid stops making their favorite flavors, they'll come back to earth.

Lol, you and Zinxe keep telling me the same. I just can't help it. I don't know what it is, but seeing so much nonsense gives me the urge to throw my word in to TRY and bring some insight to these threads.

Like boycotting GM by not buying a Chevy, then you go and buy a Buick or something at top market price, which are also GM vehicles.

to be reasonable, all consoles have some power that isnt tapped into yet, and will not be utilized ever at all in gaming.
If all consoles were using 100% of their cabability, you will get a game that will barely play smoothly. Its all about playability. To fully use the capability of a console, the developers would have to basically increase the work the system is doing. IE : advance AI, greater visual details, higher resolution, ect.

You know, with the way Sony is running things these past months, its not hard to figure out why they are angry at Sony.
Hell, just yesterday, Sony Music even hinted or so at pulling all their music out of the Apple store because apparently it stemmed from Apple denying the Sony Ebook app or some crap like that.

Maybe sony should try spending more time finding out ways to make the root key harder to find! rather than chasing down the viewers of this video...

Bit off topic there but:

I don't mean this in defense of Sony, it should apply for any company. I would do EXACTLY the same to Apple. "Don't want to honor my request? Well then I'm pulling everything that's mine that you're making profit from. Apple, I hereby state that you may not sell any more music that is under our Sony trademark."

*Apple comes back begging*

"K, you can sell our music, but now you'll make less from it for being a d***head."

Try again, main property of a PS3 is a gaming system
main property of a car is driving

its would be more similar to someone who gets On Star protection on their car, then a few years later the On Star service is removed.

Besides only Linux support was removed, and it wasn't forced on you to update.
Many research institutes that use PS3s still have Linux running on their PS3, they don't update because they don't need to.

So you're blaming the fact that Apple denied the Sony Ebook App with the excuse that it doesn't allow apps to sell stuff on their products (iphones/ipads/ipods we're talking about here) unless it is sold DIRECTLY from the itunes store as the fact that sony's in the wrong?

The Sony Ebook App would operate the same way the Amazon Kindle App or the B&N Nook app runs. Why all of a sudden the standard changes when Sony asks to get in on the app business? Can it be Apple's gonna start pushing their iBooks and will phase out the B&N & Kindle App?

So its Sony's fault Apple's not playing nice on their iOS? What's sony's response? They threaten to remove their music library which would affect Apple's iTunes market
