Black Screen after a few minutes *PROBLEM

Hey guys, the computer I built up for my buddy back in October or so is having an issue. He went to start the computer up for the first time in 2 weeks only to have it boot to the home screen, after few minutes the screen started to "shake" then went completely black. The rig remained on and running but no signal to the monitor. I have no idea what would or why this would happen, I tested the rig for days before I gave it to him and it worked fine after I RMA'd a faulty GFX. All the parts were new that I used for the build.

Could it be the following:

1. Faulty gfx card?
2. Faulty PSU?
3. PSU not providing enough power for the 460x and 6 core?
3. ????????????

mobo: Asus M4A89GTD Pro
cpu: AMD Phenom II x6
ram: Gskill ripjaws ddr3 1600 (PC3 12800)
gfx: Asus ENGTX 460 1 gb
psu: Corsair 650-TX

Seems like a bad gfx card but to be sure you must try to run it with onboard ( if its 890fx then of course there is no on board video) video or another gfx card. And lastly what do you mean by "HOME SCREEN" ?

Best provide the full specs including case and monitor used.

It might be under-powered, or the card getting too hot after a few minutes and shutds down.

I just got word that its been doing this for months but my buddy never told me. Last night I began running a gfx benchmark, cant remember the name but within 30 seconds monitor shaked and then went black.

Case is antec 900, 4 fans, and I have thought that I misunderestimated the power needed to power this system, the PSU is the Corsair 600 tx, 600 watt. I'm going to try switching the card into my rig and my 5770 into his and test it out.

Other than what I have told you guys, the only other thing is when I was setting the CPU chip I had it the wrong way and i bent 1-2 pins which i used a credit card to straighten up to the best I could then set it properlly which it went it with no prob, and I ran some cpu program for hours and nothing came up.
