It should go out tomorrow and be to you, well, within two days.

Ok cool, I've been hearing a lot about their lag times and horror stories related to shipping/customer service so i was concerned. especially that guy who is on what, 6 screens now?

Response times and input lag shouldn't be an issue for most users. Panel QC problems are a well documented issue, and are usually not Dell's fault, but you can exchange the monitor for another one of the same model if you're unhappy with your unit. What you're probably reading about is someone playing the panel lottery to get a display without the flaws generally associated with the aforementioned QC issues. Chances are you won't have to, but be prepared just in case.

Dell pays for shipping on returns/exchanges so it is not so bad.

I've heard they are spot on with their RMA/shipping process for these, but you should expect as much since these screens are considered "enterprise" class according to dell.
yeah these monitors go through some rigorous QC AFAIK.

Even with their not so expensive monitors, I havent had much of a problem with them and they dont stand by those as much as these "enterprise" level ones.

How hard was it to calibrate your dell, just a rough basic one? I'm not in the market right now for a $100 calibrator but maybe in the future if i could justify the price somehow.
