help with drivers

Thread Starter
Hi everyone, so heres the story. My PC broke and my brother gave me his old laptop but it was so damn slow (full of viruses) so I formated it but i totally forgot about drivers. He didnt give me the driver CD's cause he lost them somewhere so now im searching through web to find em... -.-
I found the graphic drivers but no audio/motherboard and was hoping that someone could help me find them? i swear ive spent DAYS looking for them with no results. I downloaded everest and used its "driver update" but it points me to driveragent.com and you gotta pay for it to use it...

My laptop is Samsung X11 and Chipset is Intel i945GM (i already downloaded that but it only fixed the graphic issuses i still had no audio...)

PLEASE HELP I'M DESPERATE !

Alright steps for finding drivers:

open device manager -> open run box and type "devmgmt.msc"
From there this will list all the hardware that doesn't have drivers.
Right click on it and select properties:

Copy and paste that hardware ID and you will find drivers. Don't worry if the drivers are for different manufacturers because different manufacturers use the same hardware. You're looking for the hardware ID. Start with the smallest and work your way to the most specific hardware ID for the best/quickest results.

Hope that helps
