Whats the point of 2560 x 1600 monitors, are they that much better than 1080p monitor - Page 5

2560x1440 and up>anything else. I just got my dell U2711 and could not believe how great it looks compared to my 1080p acer. Playing JustCause2 with the dell seemed like an entire new game. Colors are so vibrant. Well worth it over eyefinity imo.

I just don't care enough to go digging around to find it for you. It's not like I keep everything I know googled and bookmarked just in case someone asks me for proof.

So you can believe me or not, no hair off my back

30" of gaming goodness! Outstanding graphics. I can run Crysis at high settings and average about 40-50fps.

I have a 30" 2560x1600 Dell U3011 as my primary with two ASUS 24" 1200x1920 monitors (in portrait) on the sides for web browsing. You need GPU power to back up the resolution, though. I'm never going back to a 1920x1200 or less primary.
