RPM means little to nothing. If you were using that cooler on an old P4, chances are that its a solid aluminum heatsink. Avoid it, and use your stock cooler, or buy a real cooler.

So you're using that stock fan on an overclocked system?

Please get something good

also, there isn't a way to speed up the stock fan.
You can try disabling PWM in the BIOS (smart-fan or however its called in your BIOS) but I'm not sure it would work.

I'd just grab an aftermarket cooler. the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ is a great performer for it's price

If that is real titanium, then I am the king of Egypt. Real titanium is closer to silver in cost, and is impossible to extrude or forge cheaply. That and no one uses titanium because its worse than copper and aluminum as a heatsink material. That's obviously marketing.

Oh, my apologies. I hope things will get better there and you guys will finally get the government you guys really wanted.

What I meant was that heatsink looks like a generic extruded aluminum block which does its job well but is not the best heatsink you can find. Since you are in Cairo, I have no clue how easy it is to get top end aftermarket heatsinks. Obviously the CoolerMaster 212+ is a favorite choice, but might not be easy to find in Egypt. If you need to mod your existing heatsink, some small improvements you can do are to swap the better fan of the 2 heatsinks onto the better heatsink (if the fans are the same size), and try and lap (polish) the heatsink base with fine sandpaper so that it is mirror smooth.
