Windows 7 Search problem - Page 2

never used search since the history of PC's began....but...how about its unticked in the start menu customising? or unticked in the Control panel>Programs and features> Turn windows features on or off......

You've got something wrong then, I use it every day and it always works too.

Can you clarify where the file is located, and where she is searching from?

Search is very reliable for me, and I have never heard anyone ever say anything like that. I have heard it comparable to OS X spotlight.
