New Loop for 460's SLI and CPU in Lancool k62

Thread Starter
My loop isn't anything special but some people probably question some things like using MCW80 on GTX 460's in SLI, or how to fit a watercooling loop in a Lancool K62 case when its so small! Well hopefully this build will help some people out as I build it.

The components I'll be using is:
Swiftech MCP655-B
Swiftech MCW60/80 GTX460 Adapter Kit (x2)
Swiftech MCW80 VGA Liquid Cooling Block (x2)
Arctic Cooling VR005 Accelero Xtreme PLUS Mounting Kit - nVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 (x2) Only used this for the ram heatsinks in it tongue.gif was cheap and simple
1/2 ID 5/8OD Clear tubing 1ft (x10)
XSPC Rasa High Performance Acetal CPU Liquid Cooling Block
Danger Den Fillport - Blue
120mm Black Fan Grill
Bitspower 5.25 Bay Reservoir - Black
Arctic Cooling MX-4 Compound
5/8" OD Reusable Clamp (x17)
Black Ice GT Stealth 240 X-Flow Radiator - Blue
Swiftech 1/2" Aluminum Remote Fill-Port Fitting - Black
Primochill 1/2" UV Reactive Leakproof Y Fitting
9 1/2ID Barbs

and reusing the radiator from my current h70

To show the size of a k62 for those who never seen it.

Dimensions: 19.61" x 8.43" x 19.53"

For those who seen the vents on the top of the case I will be using a jigsaw to cut them out to insert the stealth rad which is why i bought the grills for it so it didn't look so weird which is why I also picked the color black. I also will be moving the 2x140 fans in the interior top of the case so I can put the radiator where the fans were.

If you have any suggestions or anything let me know Id love to hear them as this will be my first custom loop.

You actually dont even need a fill port if you have a bay res, you can just slide it out the front of the case.

Also, I wouldnt mount the drain port. Just leave it hanging around, much easier to place in a bowl/cup or whatever else you drain into.

Also, I'm pretty sure the pump should go after the res.... Correct me if I'm wrong.

For a clamp-less fit, you can also order 7/16 ID tubing with the 1/2 OD barbs...

The pump is after the res and i don't want to slide out the bay res to fill although not so difficult something Id rather use the fillport for. Also bleeding is alot easier with a fillport tongue.gif

and the drainport wont be completely mounted itll have some extra slack and i can just pull extra tubing through and lay it out to drain

All these parts are already on the way so lol tongue.gif

Have you thought about a xspc rx240 kit (if you have the room for the thickness) and 2 xspc razor 460 blocks? The blocks are pretty cheap (60 bucks) and you don't have to worry about doing the heatsink dance with the vrms. Oh nvm, sorry just noticed you already bought them. GL to ya then.

They are actually around 75.99 at cheapest and arent very well known for good performance as the MCW80 is lol and they arent universal as the MCW80 is and the xspc wont give me any better results then i do right now with a h70 and my gpus on Air.. people continue to surprise me when they suggest that kit to everyone when as you can see i never said I had a budget so im not going for the cheapest items. That kits for people on budgets and are willing to sacrifice quality for cost as far as I am concerned
