Best case scenario: Huge jump in robot efficiency, lowered cost of access into robotics and automation, cheaper **** for everyone!

Realistic (albeit hyperbolic) worst case scenario: We all lose our jobs cause a robot can do it as well as 50 of us.

Less realistic worst case scenario: Mankind is wiped out by a superior species of its own creation. If it weren't such a macabre thought, I could almost say such a thing would be a testament to our greatness...
