John, do not make a mistake by buying an Alienware.

Yeah, they might look cool, but they're always overpriced and you can always build custom pc with the same hardware for like... 40% cheaper...

Yeah, Seasonic X-750 is the best choice for his son I reckon, he won't be using a quad SLI, neither quad CF....

He doesn't need anything above that really...

Maybe a Seasonic X-850 in case he wanted to add a 2nd GTX580 in future...

Why not just go along with one of the builds already mentioned? This will take forever if you keep adding/removing the individual hardware.
