Just think about it, a guy comes in with 4k cash, asks for the community to help him on a build, makes everyone write their little heart out with suggestions and does the opposite. If you had that much money, and people built the best system for you, would you even second guess it? You would buy it in a heartbeat because "you just have money like that". The fact that this thread went on to 20+ pages told me this was a troll but hey people dont listen
This is quite a retarded behaviour.

Oh wait, you are an Evga-Fanboy, that explains it.

I see everyone shouting builds ideas but I haven't seen someone POST A decent build for what his son should get in a few pages, this is my proposed build which stays in your budget of 2700. We need to stop confusing him and just GO with something he some wants as its perfectly in his budget to do so.

CPU i7 970= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115066
Motherboard Asus P6X58D= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131641
SSD Crucial C300 128GB= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148348
Hard Drive 2 of these Samsung F3 1TB= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152185
Power Supply Antec TruePower TP-750= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371025
RAM G.SKILL 3X4GB Ripjaws= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231358
Operating System Windows 7 64Bit professional= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116758
Case Open Box Corsair 600T= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16811139003R
Graphics Card 2 of these for SLI EVGA GTX 570= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130593

Total with shipping is $2,749.87. If your budget doesn't permit you to go above 2700. I WOULD SINCERELY propose ONLY purchasing one of the HardDrive(The Samsung F3 1TB HardDrive) I selected for your son as this would keep you from going above 2700, and also giving you EVERYTHING your son has asked for. With this proposed build you can build it with your son and also give him an amazing computer that I'm sure A LOT of us would love to have/build.

What does this have to do with having evga product? Quite retarded of you to even bring it up in the first place. Unless I missed something about EVGA nowdays.

No, of course it doesnt, because its common sense to look around first.
Umm look behind you, pretty much everything possible has been listed in terms of GPU, CPU and everything else pretty much. We have suggested best of the best, best bang for the buck, and have heard everything that his son "wants" and is suitable for him. We still haven't even heard what he is going to do and which route he is going to go with.
