DDR2 hyperx set to 1066 in bios havent messed with voltage aint got a clue oh its ganged mode as well.

I can tell you that my ram wasn't stable at the rated voltages at 1066. You might need to give it a bump in voltage to get it stable. I ended up doing an fsb overclock, and got way better results because of it. My memory is only at 1Ghz, but it is way faster due to tighter timings. Just a though for you to take into consideration.

make sure ur ram is set at 2.1 volts... if its still not stable.. downclock your ram to 800mhz.. thats what I had to do.

ive got it to 3.8 stable with 1.55 cpu voltage upped the ram to 2.3 still ok but the problem now is heat im still using stock cooler any suggestions >???looking at h50 may use air as well??

nab the h50 or h70 if u can... your temps will lower ALOT with them.. I never get above 45c under full load with mine.

^ A good air cooler would be better and potentially cheaper, as long as it fits in the case...



You mentioned that your temps were nearing 60C, right? That's way too hot. It's still technically in spec, but it can hurt your stability. I'd say 45C under load would be a good target to aim for. The colder the better.
