Case switch worthwhile?

So around this time of year I end up with some saved up money and I upgrade bits and pieces of my rig where needed.

One of the areas I feel I could improve is the case, my current case as per sig is a Coolermaster Elite 335, it is by no means a bad case but I am not content with it. It feels a bit cramped at times and it makes a lot of noise.

The problem is I don't want to splurge out ~£100 for the real nice mid-towers or even full towers so would like to stick to a budget of around £50-60.

The cases I have narrowed down are the:

Antec 300
Coolermaster Elite 430
Coolermaster Haf 912+

So really what I am asking is will I see much of a difference with these cases in terms of air flow, ventilation, cooling, noise etc... or am I just barking up the wrong tree?

As a HAF 912 Basic owner (as we don't get the PLUS model here in the USA with the black interior which is nice) this case is hands down above the other two choices.

Look in my profile album of my HAF 912.

Here's a video of the Basic as the Plus has the 200mm fan in front as well as a black interior and ESata port in addition.

I'd go with the HAF 912 or the Antec 300 personally.

Although the HAF 912 does seem to be the better of the two, they're both great cases which offer lots of cooling options. Populate either of those with some decent fans and you'll be good to go.

I would say go for a full tower case, I currently have the antec 900 Two and I am wanting the Antec 1200 R3 because there is a lot more room to work with.

Oh and BTW don't get a Antec 900, no places to place cables on non modular PSUs.

NZXT Beta EVO > antec 300 IMO, I built a high end system for a mate in the NZXT Beta EVO and cable management is very good.

I was in almost the same position as you but I thought sod it only live once and got the 1200 and Im loving it!

I have used HAF 922, 912, X and personally and very impressed. 912 was the last one i used and its a amazing case for the price. I had to has 2 x 200mm fans though which i found for 20$ both and made the case look and and quite + very cool. A300 can look a bit better in the outside but its terrible inside compare to HAF series.

Thanks for all the replies, the 912+ does seem to be coming out ontop currently. I had read before a few times people recommending it, and it does appear to be the most spacious to allow for future expansions and those 200mm fans and additional points come in handy.

@ bobicon I just can't invest or see the need currently for a full tower, I tend to use 1 gpu, sometimes 2 and I rarely have more than 2 drives in, all the extra space of a full tower would seem wasted to me.

It's just a question of, will your system always be that way? but yes the HAF, i just came from an Antec 300 to an NZXT Phantom (besides the abs the rest is all steel, smoother then a baby's bum and a pleasure to work with.)

The OP had a "budget of around £50-60".

The 430 is basically your 335 with a bottom mounted psu and a different front bezel. It won't cool any better than what you have and isn't any bigger. Not worth the time or trouble.

The Antec 300 is basically an Antec version of what you already have so again you aren't gaining anything.

The only one of those three that would be any sort of upgrade would be the 912, and that would be a significant one. It's bigger, would have increased airflow, is sturdier so it would be quieter as long as you don't go crazy with fans.
