Case switch worthwhile? - Page 2

Antec 300 is a decent budget case, but it has very poor cable management and comes with only rear fans installed, so you'll have to purchase intakes.

Also, Antec's cases have an issue with the front panel audio getting feedback from a grounding loop design error. The fix isn't all that complicated, but it's worth mentioning.

I'm planning on upgrading myself after the SB recall. I don't know that I'd recommend it unless you get a fantastic price for it.

The HAF 912 is great but what's wrong with your HAF X?

My suggestion would be not to buy a case at that price point. The nice thing about cases, is that you don't need to buy a new one every build. I would save up some more money, and select something that you'll likely be happy with for a long time.

if you are just picking from those 3 then +1 for the haf912, although if you care to look at other cases then i would suggest xigmateks midgard (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/173869), or asgard (they dont have it at ebuyer tho) as they are really nice cases (my dad has the asgard and its really nice)

is too big?

I don't do SLI, I don't use much of the 5.25" cage and harddisk slots.

there seems to be too much space =x

I was thinking a 912 would cost me lesser and regain some cash from my HAF-X

The HAF X is more future-proofed IMO.

But you'll definitely be able to easily sell your HAF X especially if you still have the original box and packing.

You can see my HAF 912 in my profile album though it's air cooled and only has a Matx motherboard in it - well it's my 3rd computer anyway.
