Blackwidow Spacebar Sticking

Hi everyone, I've begun to notice recently that on my Blackwidow, if I do not hit the spacebar with excessive force, the bar will stick to the base of the keyboard for a second before popping back up. Needless to say it's a very irritating issue as I have to consciously mash on the space bar a little harder than I would like to. Has anyone heard of this issue (really couldn't find much on it anywhere else), and perhaps have a potential fix other than RMA?

stop with pr0n......

but on serious note take some compressed air and give it a real good cleaning or just take it off and see if theres anything underneath of it

I thought removing the spacebar voided the warranty (silly Razer warranties)? Because of that I'm a bit weary of removing the spacebar if I don't find whatever it is that's causing the problem.

well if you still have warranty id just try the air cleaner and if that doesnt work RMA use a spare one if you got one

Never heard of removing a key to clean under it voiding a warranty. But you only get a year warranty with it to start with. So depending on how long you had it and if you like to do a rma. Or just remove the space bar and clean it and put it back on and see if it fixes it. If it was mine i pop the space bar off and clean it and see what happens.

Okay I'll suppose I'll do that then. What's the best way to remove the spacebar? I'm not exactly sure how to remove the pins that hold it in place.

Well it looks like I got it, hopefully. I took off both alt keys and, using a paper clip, tweaked around with the rods that hold the space bar in place. I suppose they were not in proper position. Thanks for your help those who posted!
