Just to be sure, check your ram voltage, speed and timings. Also check the seating of the ram in the slots. You could also try seating the ram in different slots to see if it makes a difference.

Ok cool.. thanks for the help Pir. I still feel like it shouldnt do that but I guess I shouldnt mess with it if it boots up ok..

My mobo did the same thing, It's supposed to happen.

If you update your bios from the EVGA website it will give you an option to turn it off in the bios.

Edit: found the patch notes.
