New Loop just ordered parts...

Hey so I moving from a one loop to a dual loop setup. Now before anyone asks I am doing a dual loop because it is better for changing parts. I was tired of changing my GPU I would have to take down my CPU waterblock as well. This is not to increase performance but to make it easier when trying to troubleshoot an issue in my rig. Now on to the new parts. My sig shows current WC hardware.

2x MCP355
1x XSPC Dual DDC top
2x Phobya Balancer - 150mm

This will be replacing my Bitspower 250mm res, and my D5 (not sure what I will do with my D5)

I will be using my GTX240 for my 5970 and my RS360 for my CPU. I should be getting the parts in by Friday and should be up and running with leak testing done by Saturday night.

I'm new to watercooling and will be ordering my parts this weekend as well. This Phobya balancer, is there a special catch to it? I was going to get that XSPC res/pump combo.

May I ask why you didn't just get another D5 and a couple of these?

Doesn't seem to have any catch. Just thought they looked nice and has the placement options I need. I would of done with the XSPC dual bay res if I had anymore open 5.25 slots.

why didn't you buy the rx360?

i guess the new res you are getting gives you many options from the bitspower. why change the res?

I was thinking about it but I am a sucker for trying new things. smile.gif

Also for the lack of 5.25 slots I have available.

Not sure if you've already ordered the parts or are still taking feedback, but I'd just get a pair of Quick Disconnects and put them around your GPUs. I had the same frustrations as you, and this setup has worked wonders for me.... ~$50 instead of a whole second loop...
