[Reboot] Sardu 2.0.2 Released!!!

If any of you are unaware of what SARDU is, NOW is the time to get aquainted with this AWESOME software, it's a tech's best friend, without any doubt!

A multi-boot USB or ISO maker (See Below Post), which allows you to boot into multiple programs from various free-ware makers, this software allows you to access them using a very convenient menu! Essentially SARDU takes the ISOs repacks them and allows you to boot into them from one menu... (You don't pack or put files on or in the USB or ISO, SARDU DOES THIS!)

If you haven't had the pleasure, take some time now to check it out!

SARDU 2.0.2 Released!!

Enjoy!

P.S. Can we get this rocker smiley???

So you put isos on your flash drive and it allows you to boot off of them all from a menu?

Updated, how to install SARDU..

Download the files, it's compressed, open it up, then..
Go to your C Drive, create a folder (on the root of the drive), &name it SARDU_2
Now move all the files you download, uncompress them, into the SARDU_2 folder you just created...
Right click on the SARDU.exe application, use SARDUx64.exe if you have a 64 Bit System...
Next hover your mouse over "Send To", then move the mouse to "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
Open up the program and download all of the ISOs you will be using by clicking on the name of the box..
Move them to the ISO folder in the SARDU_2 Folder, if they don't automatically go there..
Next, Insert your USB Drive, search the USB (it's a button in the program)
Then build the USB, or you can choose to just make an ISO for a CD or DVD (depending upon size)..

NOTE: Some ISOs may need to be renamed to get them to show up in SARDU as checked (active), check SARDU's website forums, there is a post with all of the proper names for the ISO, if you run into problems that is..

DVD Usually works the best!!!! (However USB 2.0 is much faster than CDs or DVDs)

SARDU however can sometimes fail to loads some of the programs, poor packing maybe?
(WARNING: If you edit the Boot CD's like UBCD4Win it may not even boot up!)
For this reason it's better to build your own UBCD4Win separately, sorry..

Erasing the USB and starting over sometimes fixes the issue with the program, SOMETIMES!

Hope this was helpful...

DVD = 4.2 - 4.4 GB depending upon which type you use, problem solved!

(Create the ISO)

Don't forget to burn it at slower speeds to ensure that it will properly load (like X4 if you can)

NOTE: USB is significantly faster than DVD! (but often has issues loading some programs, unfortunately)

Please refer to the above instruction, you don't use the ISOs or move them to the flash drive, SARDU handles the ISO, but they do go in a specific folder..

Thanks for pointing that out...

& BTW everyone I didn't make this, I just learned of it like 3 months ago, and it is indeed epic!

+1 for TRK. Cloning with TRK is epic

I'll look into this sardu business, but I don't think it's anything I don't already have using ultimate boot cd or my USB Arch linux external disk.

But perhaps I'll find a use eventually
