Steelseries Mercs are kind of crappy. I had one :/

And Yoko fails for not mentioning Mionix. Godlike mice.

Really? what issues did you have?

I have the original merc and the LED Merc stealth and find them to be amazing for FPS games.

The layout is a bit funky but for gaming, it's hard to beat.

Mice are tough to recommend. Everyone likes something different. I'm currently using an MS Sidewinder X5 (having come from a Logitech MX518). took some getting used to but I'm quite happy with it now.

I didn't like the layout, and the build quality seemed cheap. I had an earlier one, don't remember the model # but it was like 30$. I love the Steelseries I have now though (6VG2).

I agree though. It's just silly to could out Mionix. The ergonomics of them are amazing. Just fits the hand a way a mouse should IMO

So Mionix is worth the $90? A bit expensive for my taste for just a mouse. I will give the Sidewinder X8 a try and if I don't like it, I will give the Mionix a try.
Yeah I have a Naos 5000 and I love it. Giving the sidewinder a shot is a good move though IMO.

Well everything is on its way and should be here in 3 days. I will have to post some pictures when I have it all built.

Thanks again for all your help guys. I really appreciate it.
