Are your temps ok when you run Prime?

Some CPUs need serious amounts of VCore, I had an i7 930 that needed 1.425v to get 4.2GHz with HT on.

What BSODs do you get? BSOD 101 and 124 indicate VCore or VTT is too low

Last one was 151, been priming since about 2 minutes since my last post. With the settings killer gave me its more stable, but the temp is jumping to 85 peak. Oh, and I'm on manual settings not that xmp or whatever the other one is that my asus board gives me.

I would have though that "Noctua NH-D14" would stop the high temps. what fans are on it the stock retail ones? All the fans in the case pulling and pushing air right?

Yeah, the two intakes and two exhausts in the case and the stock noctua fans on the cpu.
Whats up with hyperthreading, i play alot of games old and new, is it worth it?

HT will add about 10 degrees give or take to the total. What is the temp at idle not that it matters but i am curious now. turn this off and see what it does for the temps "Load-Line calibration = Disabled".

but i mean nothing in everyday use will stress it like the prime95, linX, intel burn test will though. So the heat issue will be gone then.

Before I bumped the vcore to 1.376 I never went over 50c idle and 70c load. With that Vcore I'm running 50c idle and a peak of 88c now. Anything I can do about these temps or to bring down the vcore? And is HT worth it, I mean if i can keep these settings and drop 10c and still play games then I'm all for that.

Definitely want to thank KillerK for the help so far. I really appreciate it. Yea I did not even look at what code I got on the BSOD. I lowered my Qpi and Vcore. Will that help bring my temps down from the 80s? I thought this thermaltake Archon would keep my out of the 80s too but I am Oc'ing to 4.4 so I guess that would be about right.
