Asus 6970 DC II - Worth it?

Thread Starter
Just looking for opinions on the asus 6970 dc II, is it worth it to buy one or stick with the stock 6970 from your respective companies. I think the DC II looks cool and stays cool but at the cost of alot of realestate inside the case.

If you can afford to and have the space, go for it. Otherwise hold out for the 6970 Twin Frozr II/Lightning or one from another partner. I personally thinkg the DCII is pretty awesome and I personally would get it over a reference one, if price wasnt too much higher.

Personally i think the stock good is great. Played Metro for 3 hours and temp hit 69C with fan ~ 57%. Playing SC2 it hit 66C so if you use custom fan profile it will not get any hotter then 75C.
