What do you mean by better? Any idea what you're going to use it for? (class, travel, computer pics, family, profession, etc)
Certainly the D3100 and the T2i are fine cameras.
But so are some of the EVIL for travel or family pictures and $600 would net you a whole lot more. Check also in the 4/3rds cameras.
You might also think about going back a generation. For example. Pick up a D90 then pick up a D3100 (both Nikon); they feel very different.
Most important thing to do with a camera is to get it into your hand. See if it behaves the way you want it to / your life / your purposes.Edited by beldecca - 2/11/11 at 4:53am
