MSI I am dissapoint UPDATE MSI refusing to send me back a card - Page 6

I had issues with MSI's RMA department too. Will be avoiding them in the future.

My card hits 90's in furmark/kombustor.
Point?

You have 6950's unlocked those cards get really hot, I got a 6870 Twin Frozr II they are supposed to stay cool. I bought two cards first one was bad the second one I bought later stayed in the 60-65's when overclocked under load, I'm pretty sure the first card was bad if it went to 90's no overclock with a cooler that is supposed to cool it more than the reference.

Hello Wubble,

We would send out a refund check to you, but you will not get a video card back. Please let us know if you are okay with this refund. If not please let us know as well so we may take the proper actions towards a solution. Thank you!

being a twin forzer II ur temps should be lower than that , no doubt about .. my 6950 doesnt go above 70c during 99% load in crysis etc what justifys 90c ? that will turn into 100c sooner or later and goodbye gfx card .

I'd like to see exactly what you were emailing the RMA dept @ MSI.

So why didn't you just return it to your retailer?
